Smithfield Youth Soccer Association is a 100% volunteer organization. SYSA is a member club with Soccer Rhode Island (SRI). Our mission is for area youth to play soccer regardless of their skill level or playing experience. For our recreational program, we have teams from grade 1 through grade 9, in boys, girls, or coed divisions. For younger players, we offer the Li'l Strikers Program teaching basic skills to introduce them to the game. Both programs run in the fall and Li'l Strikers has a spring program as well. Smithfield Strikers competitive travel teams are for those looking to take their game to the next level and compete indoors over the winter and in the Rhode Island Youth Super Liga (RIYSL) in the spring.

PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT - FALL 2023 RECREATION

Where: Deerfield Park, Smithfield, RI

When: 

• Saturday, September 9th - Saturday, October 28th.

• Columbus Day weekend will be off.

• Rain date: November 4th. 

Included: 

• Li'l Strikers (Pre-K & K): T-shirt, socks, and a size 3 ball

• Grades 1 & Up: Jersey and socks 

Price: 

• Early Bird Discount will run June 1st - June 15th: $90 

• Normal registration price will run June 16th - July 15th: $115

Who: Pre-K - 9th grade (Minimum 3 years of age) 

Time: Schedules will not be released until teams are made and roughly 2 weeks before the season starts.
