SYSA General Meeting Notes

December 12, 2006

v Reminder that the SYSA Banquet at Wright’s Farm is January 12^th from 6:00 – 10:00 PM. Logistics for banquet volunteers will be discussed and finalized at the next meeting.

v By-Law proposals were voted on and unanimously approved. By-Laws will be updated accordingly and new document posted on the website for 2007.

v Board member nominations were announced including the following positions and candidates:

Ø President – Adel Cabral

Ø VP Recreation – David Gremza

Ø VP Competitive – Bob Moretti

Ø Treasurer – Dan Rubiano

Ø Secretary – David Jenkins

Ø Registrar – Mike Cummings

Ø Membership Secretary – Patti Flis

Ø Directors of Coaching – Bob Squillante & Bill Hickey

v There will be no SYSA General Meetings in February, April and June.

v The VP of Competitive stand-in Annette Paiva gave CSD report. Item discussed were second session payments due to Bob Moretti on Friday December 15^th.

v Discussion took place regarding coaching education and plans to develop a common coaching theme for Smithfield.

v Next General Meeting will take place on Tuesday January 9th, 2007 @ 7:30 at the Smithfield Senior Center.
